Sutra 2.1 is out - and it's our biggest release yet!
Highlights:
• Try before you buy - every CBZ comic and MOBI book now opens with a free 7-page preview. Read before deciding whether to unlock Pro. This one came straight from user feedback after 2.0.
• WebDAV support - browse and download EPUB and PDF files from any WebDAV host (Synology, or anything you run). Self-signed certs work via a one-time trust prompt. No workarounds.
• Manga mode - right-to-left reading with panel order that flows top-right to bottom-left. Switch any book between Regular and Manga from the reader menu, remembered per book. Note that manga panel detection is still a work in progress, and something I would like to improve in subsequent releases.
• Reading stats - a dedicated tab tracking time read, your current streak, a swipeable activity chart, and progress across every book in your library.
• Two-panel iPad reading — facing-page spread for EPUB, MOBI, and PDF in landscape. Finally.
Also packed into this release: page-curl for comics, pinch-to-zoom on embedded images, a high-contrast reading theme, smarter library caching, and easier Tailscale connectivity.
