Sutra 1.2.0 for Android is outSutra 1.2.0 for Android is out
Hi everyone,
Sutra 1.2.0 for Android is live on Google Play, and the headline feature is - you can now stream comics straight from your Komga or Kavita server! Tap a book, start reading, and the pages load as you go, so there's no waiting on a full download, and the Download button is still there for anything you want offline.
The library got a lot of love too:
Sort by Recently Read, Title, or Author, with a separate Show choice for Books, Series, or Collections.
When you sort by Author, books from the same author stack together.
Collections are now a grid, with Favorites first. You can rename a collection from its own page.
Books without a cover get new placeholders that follow your light or dark theme.
Pull down to refresh, and select a bunch of books to mark them finished in one go.
If you read on a tablet, two-panel reading now works in landscape. Library, Stats, Downloads, and Settings also share one compact top row now, along with updated Material 3 theming.

If you try streaming on your own server, I'd love to hear how it goes. Come find me on r/SutraApp and tell me what works and what doesn't.
Happy reading!
